I’m developing a Demand-Capacity (Resource Management) workbook in Excel and it’s been a long time since I’ve done any VB development or have I done much with pivot tables. I have a demand sheet by role which I put into a Pivot table. that part is fine. I’m trying to build an Availability table from from a capacity sheet that each resource manager maintains. There is capacity, and several values to take away from capacity. The remaining is the availability. I have months in columns, and then each role has multiple rows, one of which is availability. I want to summarize the availability per role to compare against the demand. There are multiple groups with identical roles, so I need to summarize availability by role and “move” that to a comparison table (that I already have working). I’m stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
